Statistics Question?

Hi. Im having trouble with my AP Statistics class and the questions are as follows…

1. If m is an element of

E={2,1,7,1,8, 2, 8, 1, 8}

a) find p(1), p(2), p(7), p(8)

b) most probable

c) find Σ m, Σ m^2

a)

p(1) = 2, p(2) = 1, p(7) = 8, p(8) = 1 (just the numbers in that position in the set of numbers)

b)

most probable = 1 or 8 (the number that the set contains the most; the set has the same number of 1’s and 8’s)

c)

sum m = 38; sum m^2 = 1444 (just add up the numbers of the set, then square that sum)
