“Some snakes are poisonous. ” what is the simple subject and complete subject?

my teacher says that it is ss- snakes cs-snakes are poisonous

Well, your instructor is incorrect.

I believe the simple subject is “snakes” because that is what is doing the action of being poisonous.

And I believe the complete subject is “some snakes” because that includes the adjective “some”. The complete subject, or any kind of subject, does not include the verb of the sentence because the verb is part of the predicate.

oh yeah thats right, since there is only one word to describe the subject, the ss and cs are both the word snake.
