Fewer sick people, less work for the hospitals, if smoking were forbidden: more criminals, more work for the law enforcement, less taxes for the government, increased income taxes, people would live longer: more business for pension funds, increase in house construction and so on.

Well that is a hot debate but many states already have laws about smoking in restaurants and bars, even many employers these days don’t allow smoking, I ‘ve even heard rumor that some companies will not hire you if you smoke, they acually test you like they do for drugs.

Smoking isn’t the problem, if you wanna kill yourself in a slow manner its all good but why kill other people with the second hand smoke.

Do you mean a world-wide ban? If everyone in

the world obeyed that–which is highly unlikely–

it would eventually make the aromas in air, every-

where a bit nicer.

Unfortunately, it will take much more than a ban

on smoking to clean up this world.

Sad. Isn’t it? A nice thought, though.

Since the government collects a huge sum of taxes each year on tobacco products, they would definitely need to find a new revenue source.

Perhaps it is time to begin collecting taxes on monies that churches (which are organized like a business) rake in each week.
