thanx a lot
Favorite Answer
2.) 4x^2 = -24x (transpose +24x to the other side becomes negative. While on the left side of the equation, 24x is added, but when transposed to the opposite side we reverse the function, so it turns to negative.)
3.) x^2 = -24x divided by 4 (4 is multiplied on the left so if transposed to the right it must be divided.)
4.) x^2 = -6x (-24 divided by 4 is negative 6.)
5.) x^2 / x = -6 (x, when transferred to the other side should be divided)
6.) x = -6 (x^2 divided by x is equal to x)
AND THAT’S YOUR FINAL ANSWER
unless the Q is (4x)^2 +24x then
x=0 or -3/2
The other possibility is:
4x+24=0
4x=-24
x=-6
x^2+6x=0
x(x+6)=0
x=0 or x=-6
4x^2 means 4xsquared.i hope that you understand
