Yeah, Multiply by 100.

Usually in junior high you learn how to make the decimal jump over and end up where it needs to be for the new number.

So in 0.003…

There are 2 zeros in 100, so the decimal jumps to the left twice.

So you get 0.3%.

you have to move the decimal back two place. So 0.003 becomes 0.3%

multiply it by 100 and you get 0.3% you move the decimal over two places to the left to covert to percent and to convert it back you move the decimal two places to the right

you multiple it by a hundrad

example

on a test u got 25 out of 50.

you divide 25 by 50 you get 0.50

then multiply it by 100. u will get 50%.

You move the decimal over two places to the right, so it would be .3%, which looks weird, but it’s correct, as far as I can tell.

1% = 0.01 = 1/100 = 1 out of 100

0.1% = 0.001 = 0.1/100 = 0.1 out of 100

10% = 0.10 = 10/100 = 10 out of 100

Just use your 3.
