The slope of the tangent line to the graph of the exponential function y = 2x at the point (0,1) is given below.

I’m not sure you wrote everything correctly here. First of all, y = 2x is not an exponential function… And secondly, the (2^x)-1/x, I don’t see how this relates to what you’re asking. Am very confused.

Use chain rule to find derivitive y’ = e^x / x + (ln x) e^x = [1/x + ln x] e^x Substitute x=2 into this to find y’,the instant slope at the point.

y=2x is an equation to a straight line. It cannot have any tangent.
