y – y1 = m(x-1), where m = slope and (x1,y1) is a point on the line.
m = 6/7 and (x1,y1) = (2,-9)
y – (-9) = (6/7)(x-2)
y + 9 = (6/7)(x-2)
Multiply both sides by 7
7y + 63 = 6(x-2)
7y + 63 = 6x – 12
6x – 7y = 75

First, m = slope and you have a point. So, you have enough information for the Point-Slope Form equation [y-y1=m(x-x1)]. Firstly, substitute what you know y-(-9)=6/7(x-2). Secondly, simplify. y+9=6/7(x-2). Solve for y. (sorry, but I don’t want to give the answer.) This is a great first step. Good luck!

use this format (point-slope form of a line):
y-y1=m(x-x1)
huge hint m=6/7 x1=2 y1=-9
Check your instructions to see if they want your answer in standard form or slope intercept form.
