Simplifying…Honor’s Algebra Freshamn…please help and explain! ;D?

The problems are:

[9(-5x+2)-13]-[6-9(-2x+15)-20]

the other is:

-7{4[-3(x-7)-2(3x-9)]-3[-15-3(x-5)+5x]}

thank you!!

[9(-5x+2)-13]-[6-9(-2x+15)-20]

=(-45+18x-13)-[6+18x-135-20]

=(-58+18x)-(-181+18x)

=-58+18x+181-18x

=123

Since you didn’t complete the other equation, I can’t solve it for you.

But I’ll solve the front part for you.

-7{4[-3(x-7)-2(3x-9)]-3[-15-3(…

=-7{4[-3x+21-6x+18]}+45 +9(…

=-7{4[-9x+39]}+45+9(…

=-7{-36x+156}+45+9(…

=252x-1092+…

=252x-1047+9(…

I’m sorry, but someone in honor’s algebra should certainly know order of operations and distribution. What is your question?
