Troi Y is correct.
6y/-12y^2
First you cancel out common factors. Divide entirely by 6.
you are left with y/ -y^2
y^2 can also be written as y x y
so i rewrite the expression as y/ – (y x y)
So now I divide the entire equation by a common factor, which is y.
I am now left with 1/-y or -1/y.
