senior project help PLEASE?

unlike most of my friends, i have absolutely no idea what i should do. It has to be something that could contribute to society, have pro’s and con’s, I have to spend 30+ hours on it, etc. I don’t want to have a stupid idea, but I don’t want something too over my head. If anyone can give me some ideas based on the following info, i’d really appreciate it!

my main interests are art (drawing, cartoons, graphics), graphic design in advertising, psychology/therapy (basically raised in the environment), interior design. although they’re not exactly strong interests of mine, my mother’s a doctor and my father’s a lieutenant in the highway patrol. because of that i could get some easier assistance.

i know that doesn’t explain too much, but if anyone can help with ideas, i’d really appreciate it! thanks πŸ™‚

What about creating Public Service Annoucements?

You could design billboards and flyers, even shoot a short commercial.

PSA’s are important tools for warning against the dangers of peer pressure, drunk driving, teen pregnancies, etc.

Pro’s and Con’s would be a possitive public impact, but it’s pure cost as you can’t sell anything as part of the PSA.

Since you’d be designing graphics on your computer, so long as you’re “working” for the 30 hrs…

Or since school supplies are still in stock at most stores, have a school supply drive at the high school, and maybe some other schools in the district. If you have the time and commitment you could probably go to some of the stores downtown like starbucks or something and have a box there that people could donate to. Then once you get the supplies, donate them to a school that is in need…one that have children that can’t always get school supplies. It would probably take 30 hours to make signs, go to places and explain what your project is about, pick up all the supplies and deliver them and what not.

Gosh, this is kinda hard…maybe try raising money and with the money provide groceries for a homeless shelter or a food pantry. Then you can get the whole town to help…you can have one at your dads patrolling station, and your moms office…ask local grocery stores if they’ll donate. You can use your artistic abilities to make signs…hang them up all around. .. hopefully you’ll find something soon! Good luck

What about using your creative talents together with your psychology/therapy interests to design something like a life story book for looked-after children (Children in care) – some of the pros and cons could include – care worker having time to research. Access/blocks to information about the child’s early life. Tangible record for the child to keep. etc etc. It would need to be child centred and appealing, but not too ‘young’ as it would be a permanent record for the child to use for life. Just a thought – Good luck πŸ˜‰

you could probably go help out a teacher, kind of like a student teacher, but all you do is grade papers for them and follow them around for likee a week.
