1. Show that 1 cubic meter contains 1000 L.
2. A rectangular container measuring 25 cm X 35 cm X 55 cm is filled with water. What is the mass of this volume of water in kilograms and grams?
3. A chemist weighs 455 cm3 of water on a scale. For an experiment, the mass of this amount of water must be expressed in kilograms. What would this be?

#2. the volume of the box is 48,125 cm^3, so the mass of this much water in grams is 48,125 grams (b/c the density is 1 gram / cm^3) and is 48.125 kg
#3. 455 cm^3 of water is 455 grams, so it is .455 kg
