this will be an awesome experiment. try messing with the chemicals that a plant intakes. try this:

plant 9 beans in good potting soil and put them in the sun. keep the soil constantly moist but do not over water.

the experiment: arrange your plants in a 3×3 grid

measure the shoots at day 0 and record the heights

row 1 is control, water with only tap water for a week or 2. measure the stalks daily

row 2 add nitrogen to the soil. try adding nitrogen rich fertilizer. measure same as row 1

row 3, clean and dry a bunch of egg shells for increased calcium. crush them up finely and add them to the soil in row 3.

maintain your experiment, then chart the results. see if regular water or increased chemicals is better for the plants.

in case you have get admission to to a microscope: circulate outdoors and carry mutually samples of leaves in diverse tiers of wellness. seem at them under the microscope and verify if their mottled colorations are because of them dropping eco-friendly chlorophyll as area of the education for fall/wintry climate, iron chlorosis (loss of iron), or insect injury. you’re able to be able to formulate a hypothesis and a end out of your observations. P.S. have you ever found out your lesson approximately procrastination and arranged until eventually the final minute to do and assigment? perchance you’re able to turn in no longer something and settle for the punishment for procrastination!
