Pure Science tells us that water will freeze when the temperature drops to zero degrees Celsius. Technology then steps in and considers what is to be done to get ice, which is to develop some way of making the temperature drop to zero degrees Celsius.

Pure Science looks for the truths of nature, while technology and Applied Science put that knowledge into effect.

Pure science is defined as a basic knowledge it developes\Basic science is the heart of all discoveries, and progress is based on well controlled experiments.

Pure science is dependent upon deductions from demonstrated truths, or is studied without regard to practical applications

Technology is a broad concept that deals with a species’ usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects a species’ ability to control and adapt to its environment. In human society, it is a consequence of science and engineering, although several technological advances predate the two concepts.

Pure science is the examination ,experimentation and theorising about the world , purely to improve understanding.

Technology is the use of pure science to assist in building products that are useful.

for example – Pure science – quantum mechanics ( the understanding of what electrons do)

– technology – the use of quantum mechanics to build transistors that are used in electronic products
