why do notes on every instrument only go up to G?
We were asking this question in band today and I’m wondering… does anyone know?

Notes on every instriment only go up to G because that way there are only 8 notes, and they can be repeated. this a lot easier than having to make up a lot of letters, since there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. that would be one large staff too!
