The only answer that we can be confident about with the given information is A. E’s tomato weighs less than Tina’s.

The range of weights that Tina’s tomato could be is:

3.65 lbs to 3.74 lbs.

The range of weights that Tony’s tomato is:

3.5 lbs to 4.4 lbs.

Since 3.65 lbs is for sure greater than 3.625 (E’s tomato), answer A is correct.

The other statements COULD/MIGHT be true, but with the given information, we cannot be sure.

Tony could probably be tied with Emily, so it can’t be B. Tina’s and Tony’s might not be the same. We also don’t know Tony’s. So it’s A, C, or D. But the only one that you can prove right is A. 3.62<3.65 Tina's possiblities are 3.65, 3.66, 3.67, 3.68, or 3.69. All this numbers are greater than 3.62. So Emily's tomato weighs less than Tina's. A is true becuase if you round emily’s tomato to the nearest whole it rounds to 4 pounds as well, if you round it to the nearest tenth, it rounds to 3.6. Therefore, 3.6 is less than 3.7 so Emily’s tomato weighs less than Tina’s.
