I realize how much I want to say “Hello”; hmm, your cologne is so inviting.
I’ve memorized every masculine line of your oh so handsome profile
And sometimes you turn to look my way, I melt whenever you smile.
No longer, I have decided, am I content to just love you from afar
So today is the day that I have chosen to finally “raise the bar”.
Dreaming and wasting time — it’s now or never to have the nerve to take the chance
That you are free to date, and have an open mind about
the possibility of romance !!!!

This is an original poem written by me — you may use it if you like it — BUT YOU MUST TELL your teacher that a friend helped you write it! Otherwise, you’ll be guilty of plagiarism!!
Her eyes glittered like diamonds.
She was as tall and slender as a beautiful pine tree.
Her voice sent icy shivers down my neck.
The above are not great examples and you’d have to adapt them for a guy (if you’re writing a romantic poem for a guy).
Hope this helps a bit.
