After talking with several people, Dr. Cruz realizes that this is just an outbreak of Pyrexia. Other hospitals were notified and treatment was started. Immediately the symptoms began to disappear and many people felt much better after a short time. Dr. Cruz triumphs in his ability to quickly diagnose the problem and get the public the help they needed. Soon, the townspeople went back to life as normal and Dr. Cruz became a frequent visitor.
