Questions about the Sierra Club?
I know its goal is to protect and preserve the environment, but who does it target? Also, what is their main strategy of influnce?

I don’t think they have a main target. My experience with them has been as a hiker/backpacker.
They get together, as a group and go hiking and backpacking, in areas close to where members live.
Nationally, they may have a wide target. I never heard anyone in the Sierra Club talk about the environment, saving the planet, etc.
Members talked about past and future hiking and backpacking trips.
