puncutuation?

What do i use if i have a complete sentance,and then joined to it is an incomplete sentance.How do i join the two

The teacher went in to the cloackbay then went in to the classroom.

Would i use a comma,or a semi colon…?

Either, though a comma would be more common, if it is making the second section part of a continuous whole – in this case the teacher’s actions.

But spell-check first!!!

Sentence has no ‘a’ in it – and I think you mean ‘cloakbay’, not ‘cloackbay’!!!

comma is for a complete sent. with incomplete

ex. the dog was running fast after the rubber ball, that happnd to be bouncing away.

semi colon is two complete sent.

ex. the dog was running fast after her rubber ball; it just so happnd that it was bouncing away.

A conjunctive phrase or term would be better with parenthetical commas. Or two sentences.
