You can find this theorm in most trig books.
Look it up and memorize it…..your teacher will be impressed too.
Use a circle with 2 different diameters…you will find 2 right angle triangles to get you started to prove this.

It would be better if you get a picture of your question.
But generally, you could prove that by proving the two angles are the same. Because supplementary is 180 and right angle is 90. Or prove that the two lines are perpendicular. Perpendicular means that it is at 90 degree.
