Take a bus to a beach and stay at a campground. Your transactions are bus ticket, camping fee, food, other supplies like beach towel, sunscreen, etc., entertainment such as ocean fishing, para-sailing or jet skiing

I don’t know where you live, but I’d pick a nice sight or tourist place within 100 miles of your home. Think of a vacation to see something nice there, or go to an amusement park you like–whatever!

Stay in a motel or a Bed & Breakfast. Drive family car or a rental car.

Just find out the costs of:

Motel/B&B; park or place to visit; parking; gas; food; rental car; special things like a few souvenirs for family or g/f, b/f; and disposable camera. Make sure it adds up to the money you have, or less.

Good luck!

1. Keep your vacation simple- stay in state, maybe drive to cut costs?

2. If you fly, fly soutwest and take red-eye flights (after 12a.m.).

3.Stay in motels and don’t eat anything fancy. It’s hard to search a cheap diner without actually going to the location, but you can guesstimate or use yahoo answers.

4. If you have credit cards AND 250$ in hand, I assume it could be possible to exceed the amount. In real life that’s easy, but if you can’t spend more than the allotted amount, the credit cards are useless. Up to you.

5. I’m guessing your research is coming off the internet? If so, then:

answers.yahoo.com (for food ammounts)

southwest.com (in case you fly)

mapquest.com (actual miles traveled to compute gas costs)

gasbuddy.com (gas prices approx.)

Hope that helps!
