Secondly write one sentence for each of the main points

These are the main points:

1. Paying Customers Never Show Up

2. You Can’t Sustain a Competitive Advantage

3. You’re Not Ready To Quit Your Day Job

Dont put them in numbered order like i have instead write a sentence like

The article had three main sections firstly it talked about… secondly…..

and so on.

Then give YOUR OWN personal comments etc. or observation. Perhaps your opinion on whether you agree with the article. Then write a closing sentence such as

I conclude that the article…

Also keep in mind that a journalist must answer these questions : who? what? where? why? and how?

Re-read the article looking for answers to each question. The answers will give you the outline. That combined with the introduction and conclusion (as Firefly explained) will give you the information needed for a summary.
