For example, I’ve heard of a lot of people who win the lottery who just spend it on whatever instead of making a budget plan or investing some of it into a savings bond or something along those lines.

There is also the notion that once you have this large amount of money, you no longer have to work. You could live off your winnings for the rest of your life, if you wanted to. This can only occur if you put effort into it and budget your money accordingly. I’m not sure if you ever watched Yu-Gi-Oh! as a kid, but did Seto Kaiba stop working just because he was one of the world’s richest men? No. He kept working to try, in his own way, to make the world a better place for orphaned children.

I also have heard of a lot of people who spend their money selfishly. They don’t give any to their friends or family, or more importantly, they don’t give much to worthy charities. I know I’m not one to preach about this, but there are a lot of people outside of our social circles who need our help.

I hope this helps, but really, you should be thinking of this on your own.
