what do you mean “OVER” 2a? if you mean a+b divided by 2a,, the a s cancel each other out (a number divided by itself equals 1) out and your left with b/2

b/2 divided by b/3 = b/2 x 3/b = 3b/2b then the b’s cancel out and your left with 3/2 or 1 and a half

(a+b)/(2a) / (a+b)/(3a)=

(a+b)/(2a) * (3a)/(a+b) =

(3a)/(2a)=

3/2

When dividing two fractions, flip the second fraction and multiplied. (a+b) cancel each other out. The a also cancels out and leaves you with 3/2.

(a+b/2a)/(a+b/3a)=(a+b/2a)x(3a/a+b)=a
