D=M/V

Density is equal to mass divided by volume, so divide 454 by 100^3.

Good luck!

use this really cool method i learned in science, it helps a lot:

first, list your givens:

mass = 454 g

volume = 110 cm^3

then what u need 2 find:

denstiy = ?

then ur basic equation:

d= m/v

then working equation:

d= m/v (this is usually used if you have density and volume and need to find mass, you would use algebra to make it m=d x v)

now, solution:

d = m/v

so, you use substitution and…..

d = 454g/100cm^3

you get….

d= 4.54g/cm^3

…..theres a really easy way 2 remember this method……
