A supercontinent is a landmass made up of more than one continent such as Eurasia which is made up of Europe and Asia. THE supercontinent you’re referring to is probably Pangaea.
The theory is that long long long ago all of the continents where one big land mass that slowly separated over time. This Super Continent was called Pangaea, or Pangaea Ultima.
So, the world is different now in the sense that land masses are farther apart. This keeps civilizations and cultures from bleeding into one another to a degree because they are all so remote. If makes travel between places more dificult and allows more diverse forms of life to exist around the world.

I believe the Supercontinent was called Pangea. The world is different today because Pangea supposedly broke apart to form the continents we have now.

The supercontinent’s name was Pangea, it was when all the continents were connected with one another.
The world is so different today is because the continents are floating on tectonic plates that has slowly moved (and still is moving) over time.

The super continent was pangea,225 million years ago. through out the years this super continent changed and started dividing into small continents. Now the supercontinent changed into 7 small continents which are now north america south america, Australia. Europe, Asia, antartica, and Africa
