14) 4.7 cm x 8.767 cm

this is chemistry hw, i have no idea what to do, please help me

when multiplying/dividing, always take the lowest sig fig.

4.3 x 2.15 x 4.8 = 44.3760

your lowest sig fig is 2. your answer needs to be in 2 sig figs. so, your finaly answer would be 44 cm

4.7 x 8.767 = 41.2049

lowest sig fig is 2. your answer needs to be in 2 sig figs. so, your finaly answer would be 41 cm

just multiply them..with or without decimals..if without dont forget to put the decimal point back in there!:)
