Movement is like transportation and trades. How do we get people and things from one place to another. It also involves WHY things move. Commerce (business and trade/imports and exports), manufacturing (natural resources have to be moved to factories), people travel for business, pleasure, relocation for employment, disease, disasters, and the list can go on.

Any time you are studying geography, politcal boundaries, and physical features of the land affect both interaction and movement. Even something simple, like your cell phone will go on roaming when you leave your area or be unable to receive calls if you go between 2 mountains. All 5 of those themes of geography impact each other and affect history, economics, sociology, and other areas of social studies.
