please help!!!?

can somebody help me find the perimeter of the triangle PQR with vertices P (-6,-3), Q(1,-1), and R(1,-5)? and also of the pentagon ABCDE with vertices A(6,-2), B(-4,7), C(0,4), D(0,0), and E(-4,-3)? thank you!

i think these are the answers according to me.

triangle:

im guessing its an iscoceles triangle with two side of 7 units and one of 3 units so 7+7+3=17units

pentagon:

so i go sides that measure 4units, 4units,6units,10units,and 10units so 10+10+4+4+6=34units

and adding roots are pretty simple just pretend the square root is a variable

for example you can see the square root of 53 + the square root of 53 as x+x because they are the same number which equals to the same variable

so the square root of 53 + the square root of 53= 1square root of 53

like X+X=1x
