Convert 72.1 km/h to m/s:
72.1 km / h * 1000 m / 1 km * 1 h / 3600 s = 20.03 m/s
Find a:
a = Δv/t = -20.03 / 22.6 = -0.886 m/s²
Plug everything in:
d = 20.03 m/s * 22.6 s + 1/2 * -0.886 m/s² * 510.76 s² =
452.678 m + -226.26668
d = 226.4 m
2a.) To find the acceleration, use v = at.
v = -3.05 m/s² * 6.4 s = -19.52m/s²
