Physics question (velocity stuff…) can u help me please?
A police car moving at 140 km/hr chases a speeding car moving at 110 km/hr. How much closer to the speeding car does the police car get each minute?

The difference between the speeds is 140 – 100 = 30km/hr. Now to convert this to minutes, all you need do is divide your number by 60 (since 60mins in 1 hr!!).
So 30 / 60 = .5 km/min

Simple just take the diference in the Speed to cars ( 140-110 km/hr = 30 km/hr ) and multiply the difference in speed by the time ( 30 km/hr = 0.5 km/min ) ( 0.5 km/min * 1 min = 0.5 km )
