well i picked (Should acts of hate be criminalized)..i thought this would be a great topic..what do u all think…and if it is please tell me what to talk about…oh and by the way its a persuasive speech..

It is a great topic. Very current. Most hate crimes are violent, but it would be more interesting for you to debate the non-violent ones like writing on walls, hanging nooses from trees, etc. I would question their purpose and whether they should be considered threatening. Do they impose upon others rights by making them feel unsafe? Should age be a factor in whether or not the act is considered criminal?
