Maybe your teacher is using a different definition of a kenning than I am familiar with, but did your teacher approve your kenning? I believe a kenning is a two word poetic renaming of something. You know, like the sun being referred to as “God’s light.” Just make sure you understand the term kenning before you start the poem. Do you have any examples of kennings that your teacher cited in class?

I’m just going to shoot out suggestions to you… im in 7th grade so I might not know what I am doing but i will give it a shot.

Okay here it goes, you might want to give examples of something awesome and sick…. Well basically i am saying what activity or skill is awesick or awsome and sick seperately even though they have the same meaning…

That is all I have well good luck.

I think it would help if you knew what awesick means to you (I like that word a lot). Then you can write about it better.
