Oh, wow.
We just had a whole convo about this in science.
Yes, we should.
Cause, just cause some king said a foot should be 12 inches doesn’t really mean it is.
If there is 12 inches in a foot, why not 12 feet in a yard?
And 12 yards in a mile.
Metric, everything is pretty much in centi(100).
There are 16 ounces in a cup. 2 cups in a pint, 2 pints in a quart.
Tell me how this makes sense.
I think we should switch over.
If you travel anywhere outside the US, you will have to learn a whole other system.

Yes, because a standard unit of measurement is essential to repeat past experiments and mathematical equations. Also, some units of measurements cannot be converted from the metric system to the English system

yes. because it would make it like the rest of the world and every one would not be confused. think about the other people of the world who would have had to learn the english system!
