First do F'(x) then plug 4 in x’s place you get

1. Just input 4 wherever there’s an x, giving you:

f(4)=[√{ 4} − 2 /(√{ 4} + 2 )]

Now, you want to do the square root giving you:

f(4) = 2 – 2/(2+2)

Next, do your addition that’s in brackets:

2 – 2/4

Simplify your fraction to give you 2-1/2 which becomes f(4)=1 1/2
