Y=mx+b

Solve for Y.

Y= 2/3 (x) – 2

Y Int = -2

Slope = 2/3.

Plot point (0,-2) Then move up two, to the right three, for your second point. Repeat for the third, fourth, etc… You have a line.

Ok,

isolate the y, Divided 3 on both sides

u will get 2x over 3 and a -2

Then u will go up 2and to the rigth 3

for the -2 u will go to the left 2

the x is 2x over 3 and the y is -2

sorry girl, that is really easy, just look at your textbook, and figure it out yourself. That is just kids play, if your really worried about it, get yourself a study-buddy, and work together, but don’t ask us to help you cheat. Sorry. Besides it would be rather difficult for me to graph it for you. Just calm down and look carefully at the equation. 3y, that is your answer. So find 2x, minus 6, and you’ll have your y intercept. it is really easy. Just take some time to think it through in your head.

you need to divide the equation by 3 to isolate y

y = 2/3x-2

-2 is your y intercept

draw an x and y axis and put your pencil on y = -2

slope is 2/3

slope is rise over run

so, from y=-2, go up 2 and over to the right 3.

put a point there and repeat

draw a line connecting the points

first find y:

3y=2x-6

or,y=(2x-6)/3

then

if x=6

or,y=(12-6)/3

or,y=2

like this way find 2 other values,but remember there should be no fractional nos.

then,plot these on graph sheet by taking x and y oordinates…

i think u know plotting at leat

so, go get goin’….tell me if there is any problem…

3y=2x-6

y= 2xDIVIDE 3 – 6 DIVIDE 3

y=2/3x – 2

y intercept= 2 and x, i believe, is 2/3
