alright i need to remember the distance formula anyone please tell me that. and also help me solve these problems cuz i am seriously stuck and its my last problems for the day

Take the first one apart and make two inequalities and solve them:

-7y<5y-2 and 5y-2<3 -12y<-2 and 5y <5 y >-1/6 and y <1 Rewrite as one inequality now: -1/6 < y < 1 The second one looks like something is missing after that minus sign. You would not have to take it apart to solve, though since the variable appears only in the middle. Just solve by isolating the variable. The distance formula is: the square root of (the change in the x's squared plus the change in the y's squared).
