That is the type of question that someone replies back to regarding what he/she believes to be a dumb question with an obvious answer. His/her rhetorical question, intended as a reply to your question, indicates he/she thinks you are an idiot. Your question regarding the logic your instructor used in replying to your question with a question tends to support his/her conclusion. If you do not understand this answer you probaboy will not be passing the course, but at least you will know whether bears crap in the woods. The answer is YES, as was the answer to the question you asked your instructor. Good luck in your remedial javelin catching class.
