sqrt(2x) – 10 = 0
sqrt(2x) = 10
Square both sides:
2x = 100
x = 50
**Always check your work**
Substitute x with 50 in the ORIGINAL equation:
sqrt(2 * 50) – 10 = 0
sqrt (100) – 10 = 0
10 – 10 = 0

sq.rt2x^2=10^2
2x=100
x=100/2
x=50
sq.rt means square root
