1/2 x + 1/3 y = 5/6
1/2 y + 3/4 x = 5/4

multiplying the first equation by 6 and second equation by 4,
3x + 2y = 5 —————->#3
2y + 3x = 5 —————->#4
it’s quite obvious that these equations are the same, so it has infinite solutions.
I suspect this question is wrong.

8(1/2 x + 1/3 y = 5/6) –> 3x + 2y = 5
-4(1/2 y + 3/4 x = 5/4) –> -2y – 3x = -5
…
um. the results are the same so im stuck.
norm you would multiple the whole equation by a certain number so that you are able to cancel out a variable and hence find the other ..
