ok the question says:
If 5cm cubed of gold has a weight of 96.5g, what is the density of gold in grams per cubic centimeter? i don’t understand what they mean by density and i’m not sure if my answer is right

Density is the ratio of an object’s mass to its volume.
D = m/v
You are given both the mass and volume, so you just need to divide:
D = 96.5 g/ 5cm^3
D = 19.3 g/cm^3
