next time use a calculator !.

1/2 = .50

2/3 = .667

3/4 = .75

4/5 = .20

So the above formula is translated as :

= (.50/.667) X .75 X .20 = 0.1124 or

= [ (1/2) X (3/2) ] X .75 X .20 = 0.1125

Always use the BODMAS rule as a method of calculation

1. B – anything within Brackets

2. O – operand

3. D – Division

3. M – Mutiplication

4. A – Addition

5. S – Subtraction.

first you opt to do the fractions interior the parenthasis first. so what i did exchange into multiply 4/5 x 5/6. 4/5 x 5/6=2/3 then upload 2/3 + 3/4 and you get 17/12 now which you have the solutions of the operations interior the parenthesis you’re able to do the entire situation. a million/2 + { 17/12} – {2/3} = a million a million/4 and to function and subtract fractions you ought to discover the least consumer-friendly distinctive. which for this reason it somewhat is 12 as a results of fact 2 12 and 3 all can pass into 12

Remember – Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally…. PEMDAS

Order of importance in math functions… P(parenthesis), E(exponents), M(multiplication), D(division), A(addition), S(subtraction).

1/2 divided by 2/3 is actually going to be 1/2 * 3/2…

So then you have 1/2 * 3/2 * 3/4 * 4/5..

The 4’s cancel out, so then really you have…

1/2 * 3/2 * 3/1 * 1/5

Should be 9/20, but you might want to double check it.
