first simplify the denominator (multiply 2 by what’s inside the parentheses to get rid of the parentheses)

Once you do that, it should be clear what to do. I’ll give you a hint… If I gave you this problem, what would the answer be?

3 * 2 * 4 * 1 / 3 * 1

Your equation works the same way, except some of the numbers are unknown (variables).

You left out the sb in the last answer. You did it correctly but forgot the variables.

33sba/22a = 33sb/22=== 3sb/2

33sb/21a- that’s the answer- that’s all you can simplify
