At what point does the line 5x – 15= 3y cross the x and y axes? I dont need the answer i just need it explained to me.

To find where the line crosses the x-axis, you set y = 0 and then solve for x.
Setting y = 0, the equation would become 5x – 15 = 0
The result you get for x will be the x-intercept.
To find where the line crosses the y-axis, you set x = 0 and solve for y.
Setting x = 0, the equation would become -15 = 3y
The result you get for y will be the y-intercept.
