Life is a cruise. –>Homework Help.?

Okay, so I’m doing a project, using the metaphor Life is a cruise. I need 8 steps to use, So far I have Boarding, Enjoying the cruise, stopping at an island, sea sickness, I need more, each has to relate to an event in my life. How else can I compare life and a cruise journey?

How about “Island Excursions” (trying new things), Disembark the ship (dying), “Dining with the Captain” (highlights in yours life, i.e. marriage, birth, etc.), “Shipmates” (represents all the new friends you make and people you meet), “Let’s Get Room Service” (taking it easy in life, vacationing), “Port Fees” (Income taxes), “Cabin Assignments” (class situations/money status, i.e. rich people get huge rooms and visa versa)

Hope these helped! ^.^

1. A storm hits. Feeling very vulnerable.

2. Your number comes up on the gambling table: Feeling very lucky.

3. A murder takes place on board: Feeling of unexpected fear.

4. The food is fantastic and plentiful: Feeling very satisfied, yet knowing you’ll have to pay the piper and go on a diet.

5. A shipboard romance: Falling in love.

6. By coincidence coming meeting someone who was important to you earlier in life. Feeling full of memories.

7. One of your favorite actors is on board, but instead of the arrogant stud he plays on screen, he is now old and crippled and barely communicative as he is wheeled about in his wheelchair. Feeling your illusions are lost.

8. Someone is overboard, drowns. Feeling very sorry.

9. Arrival back at the home pier: There’s no place like home, Dorothy.

Hmm…I’m really not a cruise person, but from my vague recollection, they seem to like to eat a lot, play shuffleboard, and do duty-free shopping expeditions.
