According to well established, creditable sources there appears no direct or indirect initial contact between these two cultures (roman and Arabic). Therefore the roman and Arabic heritages were transferred into Latin American by the Spanish conquerors/invaders’ own part-roman/Latin ethnic backgrounds and by successive waives of migrants amongst many of whom a number of “mozarabes” (Spanish people of Arabic descent) would have come to the New World.
