Jumping Raisins Experiment. Answers to some Questions wanted! Thanks!?

Ok! In school I did this experiment called the Jumping Raisins.

The Solution is quite simple actually.

Vinegar

Baking Soda

Water

4 raisins

This was all put in a small glass.

As you may have guessed, the vinegar and the Baking soda mixed and made the raisin seem like it jumps. Now me teacher has optional homework for us to do for extra credit.

I cannat find the answers to these questions so can anyone help me? Here are the questions____.

1.Some of the raisins floated because____.

2.After rising, some bubbles attached to the rasin and popped at the top of the solution beacause____.

3.After rising, some raisins turned or flipped over as they sank beacause___.

4.After a period of time, most raisins stopped rising beacause_______.

5.Some raisins did not rise because___.

6.Some raisins bumped and turned around on the bottom of the container because___.

7.Rasins with a lot of bubbles rise but raisins with fewer bubbles don’t rise because__.

Honey, these questions aren’t hard. What was it in the solution that made the raisin float? Did it do it on its own? (Hint: the answer is in question 2). Why do bubbles in anything pop when they reach the surface? If you’ve figured out what made the raisins float and the bubbles popped at the surface, then why would the raisins sink? What happened to whatever was making the raisins dance? You don’t seem like you’ve done much work because a lot of the answers are in the questions themselves. I’ve taught this lesson, and I’ve successfully taught it to fourth graders where they could figure it out on their own.

ok well i’ll try

1. some raisens floated instead of jumping becuase they didn’t have enough power or bubbles from the backing soda and other ingredients

2. some bubbles attached to the rasins and popped at the top of the solution probably becuase some mixtures in the solution were mixed but not strong enough

3. some raisins turned or flopped over becuase of the mixture and solution and the ingredients they needed, there wasn’t enough of one thing in the right place or enough power so they sank.

4. most raisins stopped rising becuase the baking soda and some of the ingredients were dieing down. After all it can’t last forever.

5. again with the power and were some of the ingredients weren’t were or all mixed together so every raisin got enough.

6. of the baking soda and vinigar and not enough bubbles for them.

7. Raisins with a lot of bubbles rise because of the power of the mixture and bubbles to help them rise and with fewer becuase there is not enough power.

Hope these helped! Good luck!

I stared it becuase I’d like to try it out some time!
