If (to word it like you did) one of my factors of my number is 50, then my other factors are 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 & 50.
If one of my factors of my number is 70 then my other factors are 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 14, 35 & 70.

Go through the numbers and see which numbers go into 24 evenly & you have your list of factors. Now…if you’re “factoring” 24 then the task is a little different. I’ll go through the examples above with factoring them.

In factoring, you’re breaking it down into the factors until the factors can’t be reduced anymore.
