talk about how it is becoming increasingly difficult to find new and interesting topics to discuss in english class… or talk about a book that you really enjoyed or learned a lot from. if you have read al gore’s book then why not talk about that – a bit about al gore, what the book is about, how the book has affected the world in general, how the book has affected you, show some of the pages in the book, talk about why you think its such an important topic. or talk about someone who really inspired you. or about a normal day in the life of you. or talk about what recently happened in the news. what every you choose, make sure that you link it back to yourself and discuss the topics importance to you and how it has “changed” you. good luck.

Pick a news topic. Maybe something from Oddly Enough Section; those stories are usually short and funny sometimes.

You could read parts of it and then state your opinion, or ask your family’s opinion and then tell about what was said.
