198 !!!

2y2 is actually 2y^2 which means 2yy

So, it’ll be like this:

2(3)(3)(3+8) = 2(9)(11) = 18 (11) = 198

I noticed something else… all of your answers are odd…except for 198…because of the first 2 that is multiplied in all the numbers. So, without any calculation you could say that the answer is 198!

2y2(x + y) when x = 8 and y = 3

substitute x and y in the equation, therefore,

2 x 3 x 2 x ( 8 + 3) = 12 x 11 = 132.

EDIT: S Sami gave the correct answer. fatalpig826 atleast type the question properly. you made the same mistake twice. better watch out in your tests/exams.

For this manner of situation, plug interior the numbers they provide you the place you spot the corresponding letters, and then remedy with reliable previous standard math: x^3 / 2y^a million/3 with x = 9 and y = 8 (9)^3 / 2(8)^a million/3 729 / 2(2) the respond is 729/4 or 182.25
